Sojouners & Exiles exists to serve the church by giving voice to the Word of God through song. Our music offers modern-day renditions of the Psalms, shaped by the rich history of the church’s psalters and poets. From the earliest days of God’s people, the Psalms have been the church’s prayer book and hymnbook—forming our theology, shaping our affections, and teaching us how to respond to God in every season of life.

We believe that singing the Psalms in corporate worship is not merely a historical practice, but a biblically faithful one. In the Psalms, God gives His people inspired words to sing back to Him—words of praise and lament, confidence and repentance, hope and longing. Our aim is to clothe these ancient songs in contemporary musical forms that are accessible to today’s congregations, while remaining faithful to the text and theology of Scripture.

As sojourners and exiles on the earth, we sing the songs God has given us as we await the coming of His kingdom. Our prayer is that these psalms would dwell richly in the church, helping God’s people worship in spirit and truth, grounded in the Word and oriented toward Christ.
