Sojourners & Exiles collects as little as possible, never sells or shares what you give us, and uses nothing to track you. Here is exactly what that means—for the app, and for this website.
The app: A Liturgy of Hours
The prayer app collects no personal data. The times you choose for prayer reminders are stored only on your device and never leave it. There is no account, no advertising, and no analytics, and the app sends nothing to any server. All scripture and prayer text is included in the app and works completely offline.
This website
The website keeps things just as lean. We use no advertising trackers and collect nothing beyond what you choose to give us:
- Mailing list. If you subscribe to the devotional, we store your email address (and which page you signed up from) so we can send the weekly devotional and the occasional update. Email delivery is handled by Resend, and the list is kept in our database. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe.
- Contact form. If you write to us, your name, email, and message are delivered to us (through Formspree) so we can reply. We use them for nothing else.
- Giving. If you choose to give, your payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
We don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone, and we don't use it to follow you around the web.
